Hot Club focuses on:

Mixes European folk music with jazz, using stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass), acoustic guitars, clarinets, flutes and accordion to play a fiery and fun style of music that is performed and respected around the world. The small size of the ensemble, and the all-acoustic instrumentation ensures that everyone is heard. The songs are simple to start, so you can focus on playing together in a band and expressing yourself.

Why join Hot Club?

You will notice improvements in your playing very quickly, as you work on listening to each other, keeping the beat without a conductor, and playing with feeling. Improvising will develop your music theory skills and increase your comfort on your instrument as you jam with the band. You will find a supportive, fun environment to work out your best musicianship, playing this beautiful, exciting music.

What Students Say...

She got to actually work with a group in a band. [This] taught her a lot about give-and-take and supporting other people. She gets a lot out of Kidzrock from a social aspect.
- Marie Boesch, parent

He started playing music right away... and reading music from a very young age. If your child has any interest in music, this is a great way to cultivate that love of music.
- Julie Sandler, parent

He was playing that little guitar after just one class. Watching him on stage performing with his band was amazing. One of the best decisions we ever made!
