Olivia is an emerging young professional coloratura soprano, aspiring to hold a career deeply steeped in the performing arts in addition to her passion for teaching. Growing up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan she was thankful to have a diverse culture around her at a young age and have wonderful drama/fine arts opportunities both in school and locally. She is the only musical soul in her immediate family, so she taught herself how to play guitar in middle school in order to lead her youth worship band when the leader stepped down. From then on her life was consistently consumed with music; from solo and ensemble, musicals, majoring in music in undergrad and graduate studies, to her professional operatic debut in 2019 at Hartford Opera Theater and her international performance debut as a young artist at the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia, also in 2019.
