- BIO
Taylor began her musical journey at a young age, starting with Suzuki violin at 4 before finding her passion for the French Horn at 8, becoming the fourth professional horn player in her family. Throughout high school, she actively participated in various music programs and clubs, both within her school and community. At the University of Hartford's Hartt School, Taylor pursued dual majors in Music Education and French Horn Performance. She is poised to continue her academic journey at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, beginning her Master's in French Horn Performance in fall 2024. Taylor has had the privilege of studying and performing monumental orchestral works, including "The Planets" and "Pictures at an Exhibition,' notably at the Toppenkurset International Summer Academy and Festival for Music in Norway. Beyond performance, Taylor is deeply passionate about music education. She completed her Music Education degree under the guidance of Dr. Warren Haston at the Hartt School, equipped with the skills to nurture the next generation of musicians. Taylor eagerly anticipates bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to Falcetti Music, where she looks forward to inspiring and mentoring students in their musical journeys.
